AE (Ascend Elements) is a production enterprise that has completely transformed lithium-ion battery materials by establishing a clean and sustainable supply chain through the use of recycled raw materials. It is a leading resource recycling company in the United States and the first and largest battery material production factory in the country, improving the safety of key material supply in the domestic electric vehicle industry. It produces sustainable cathode precursors (pCAM) and cathode active materials (CAM) from discarded lithium-ion batteries to support the domestic lithium-ion battery supply chain. The 140 acre building is located in Hopkinsville, and Apex will produce enough materials annually to power over 250000 electric vehicles
